by Front Street in Philipsburg, St. Maarten was buzzing with excitement for the grand opening of the new Cariloha St. Maarten store. Decorations, banners, ribbon-cuttings, in-store promotions, and more attracted hundreds of cruise passengers to the store’s festivities. The only thing missing was me. But, that’s another story. Wish I could have been there. No worries though. The store is beautiful and the staff is terrific!
At the end of the grand opening day, the store set a new island sales record for St. Maarten! Del Sol and Cariloha’s sales combined for an incredible day! During the same event, we awarded cruise port lecturers, Shelby and Luis Rojas, with $10,000 for the Overboard Reward (Cariloha 1st Place), and $1,000 for the Overboard Reward (Del Sol 3rd Place). We also awarded cruise port lecturer, Liz Wadden, with $2,000 for the Overboard Reward (Cariloha 2nd Place). Cariloha was also featured in the St. Maarten Daily Herold, and store manager, Brenda Lake, was quoted in the article.
