The new Del Sol Avila Beach, California store officially opened this past weekend, putting yet another sunny spot on California’s golden coastline. New Avila Beach store owners, Tony and Sandy Camara, first saw Del Sol at the Puerto Vallarta stores in Mexico. They were very happy with their store’s opening weekend of sales, doing over $1,600 on their first day of business.
The new store is located on famous Front Street—the most tourist-trafficked street in town. Only a wooden walkway separates you and the store’s front door from the sandy beach and warm Pacific Ocean. This quaint beach town maintains an average temperature of between 70 and 80 degrees year round and is only about an hour’s drive north of Solvang, where another Del Sol store resides, and 200 miles south of San Francisco, where another Del Sol store sits in Pier 39.
Del Sol Store Designer, Jamie Seals, was on site to ensure that the store build-out went smoothly. She did a fantastic job! Regional Sales Directors, Devin Paul and Emilee Snow, fresh from a sales trip to Monterey, California, were also on site in Avila Beach to help with staff training, merchandising and inventory. Thanks to the New Store Opening team and to everyone involved!
