Del Sol Color-Changing Nail Polish – Ruby Slipper
On our last cruise, we were doing some shopping in Philipsburg, St. Maarten and came across a Del Sol store! Del Sol creates fun products that change colors in the sun. Inside the store they have UV bulbs set up next to the product displays so that you can preview what things will look like when exposed to sunlight. I was like a kid in the candy store when I saw an entire display of color changing nail polish. Can anything be more awesome!?
I limited myself to just one color – Ruby Slipper. Indoors, it’s a fine silver glitter in a clear base. It’s very, very sheer. This photo shows two thick coats, but my nail beds are still visible underneath.
But take this stuff outside and in a matter of seconds it changes to a deep pink. It also makes you aware of how messy your application actually is when the clear base turns to pink. I thought I had applied it more neatly than this – ha!
