I first discovered Del Sol when my aunt bought me a couple of their nail polishes in the Bahamas. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, they make clothes, accessories, and other fun things that change colors in the sun. So, of course, when I found a store in Maui that sold it, I had to add another polish to my collection.
I have a major nerd confession: I have been waiting three weeks to use my new polish. Why? Because it’s called On Fire, and it changes from glittery orange to a coppery plum in the sun — very Katniss Everdeen, yes? I know I’m not the only one rocking Hunger Games themed nails this week, so feel free to share your fellow nerdiness in the comments!
I also have Ruby Slippers, which changes from silver glitter to dark pink — this one is particularly fun to layer since you can still see the color underneath indoors, then it completely transforms in the sunlight! I have my eye on Rock Star and Knock Out next. What do you think of color changing nail polish?
