Your donation was a great hit and with the Del Sol [tote] bag that was donated, it worked out great as we were able to pack everything into the canvas bag for the winning bidder to take home.
Comedy Night was a great success. The Minuteman Association made a net profit of about $18,000. A week ago, we awarded $15,000 in grants to teachers and staff for various items that are for the benefit of the students. One grant was for a photo booth for the digital photography students. What was great is that they worked with the carpentry students who designed the booth for them and determined the cost of materials. The carpentry students will build the photo booth for the digital photography students.
Within a couple more weeks, the Minuteman Parent Association will be awarding $13,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors. Minuteman High School has a very diverse population and these awards mean a lot to students.
