Del Sol/Disney products come to Rehoboth
Rehoboth Beach — A little bit of the “Happiest Place on Earth” has made its way to Rehoboth Beach.
Disney has teamed up with Del Sol, the clothing and accessory franchise known for its color-changing merchandise to unveil a new line of accessories for girls.
Greg Becker, co-owner of the Rehoboth location at 216A Rehoboth Ave. with partner Lewis Dawley, said the partnership is in its early stages and is mainly focused on Disney’s princess line. Items include head bands, hair barrettes, hair clips, nail polish and cosmetic sets.
The products, which – like all of Del Sol’s merchandise – change color in the sun, also feature well-known Disney icons such as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” Minnie Mouse, Rapunzel from “Tangled” and Snow White.
“We’re actually really excited about it. People see the Disney in the window, and it really draws them in here. Plus, we can officially say we’re a Disney retailer,” Becker said.
He said the products have done well so far. Becker hopes down the road to feature T-shirts and other items.
