New York Fashion Week’s Creatures of Comfort Fashion Show featured one of Del Sol’s color-changing nail polishes. Models wore the nude polish (without sun) to go with a gold-leaf plated nail design, created by manicurist Alicia Torello, which changed to a soft yellow with sunlight. The models’ looks from the show highlighted in Marie Claire are wearing this gold-leaf design with Del Sol polish.
Want it Now: Creatures of Comfort
At Creatures of Comfort, it was all about the beach vacation.

The most frustrating thing about fashion week? You can’t wear the clothes until next season. At today’s Creatures of Comfort presentation, we couldn’t help but wish almost every piece could magically appear in our closets. “I was inspired by beach vacations and being carefree,” designer Jade Lai said backstage. “I imagined lucky girls who jetted from beach to beach and wore breezy, carefree island clothes.”
Lai’s message was conveyed through relaxed silhouettes—think oversized white shirts, loose pants, simple shift dresses, and prints that were perfect for relaxing poolside, sets including cutout island scenes and rock sculptures. In our minds, Creatures of Comfort Spring 2014 was the perfect collection for looking easy and breezy during the summer months.
