Details: Color-changing technology is the basis for all Del Sol products. Color-changing pigments on paint in fabric paint, nail polish, jewelry, key chains, tote bags, and other such fun stuff that changes colors in the sun.
My Review: We were given butterfly mini hair clips, Secret Crush nail polish, and a zip up hooded jacket for free to test, try and review. Everyone loves color-changing items. We had so much fun testing out the products. Showing friends, family, and people in general how cool these products are.
Hair Clips: We got the 8 pack mini butterfly hair clips. Two butterflies change red, two turn yellow, two turn fuchsia, and two turn purple. Girls of all ages will love these hair clips, and well any of the hair clips. With a large selection of types of hair clips, butterflies, flowers, princesses, etc. Frosted white in color without the sun, hair clips will change to red, yellow, fuchsia, and purple in the sun.
Nail Polish: Secret Crush pink (more of a salmon color) turns light purple in the sun. Nail polish is pearly. This works great. The color change is very slight, many people couldn’t see the difference at first, but after about 5-10 minutes after the change they could say yes, it isn’t the original color. But I could see the difference right away.
Jacket: So when I ordered my Hoodie, there were 2 available, but now they only have one available. The one they have available right now is not the one I wanted. But after trying it out, its really fun to wear. I love the thumb holes in each sleeve and so does my husband. He really wants a sweater like this. I love the hidden ipod pocket with ear phone hole, what a cool idea for Teens, or someone working out. My Husband loves the front design more than I do; he says it looks really good on me, but I’m still not in love with this. The only time I really like the design is when it turns from a dark gray to a plum purple color in the sun.
