Del Sol Nail Polish Review

You’ve already seen their sunglasses, keychains, and earrings. With all of their color-changing products infused with crystal technology what could they possibly think of next? Clothing, accessories, footwear, jewelry, what are we missing? Why the beauty section of course. Read on to hear about two nail polishes from Del Sol and what they’re all about.
Even now as I sit writing this review in my favorite coffee shop in Manhattan, I’m watching my “Flirt” polish change color depending on which way I turn in front of the window. Sitting inside where the light still comes in, but not as strongly, my nails are a middle range pink, not the luminescent color without sun, nor the rich berry with sun, but a metallic ballerina pink. See below to see the without sun color (left) and with sun color (right). Though it looks pinker in the picture, it depends entirely on how many layers of polish you use. It acts differently than other polishes I have tried; you will need to use at least three coats to get a good solid color. With three coats, it looks like a very light silver metallic pink; with four coats it looks silver. The color change will obviously be different depending on how much sun you are exposed to.
The second color I tried is called “Trick or Treat”. An orange to black. This color also needs three to four coats, but unlike flirt it will match the color you see in the bottle. It’s a very pretty bronze orange. Though trick or treat would imply the colder part of the season in October for Halloween, I like this polish best with a light tan and light bronzer on the cheeks. It creates a very healthy glow all over. When you go outside it will turn dark black or be a light black with shades of the orange peeking through. It’s extremely unusual and eye-catching.
You can find everything at the drug store in nail polish from gels, tips, and crackle effects, but no one has anything that does this. It’s an extra plus that for each polish you buy it’s a two-in-one concept. For the price of one polish, you get two colors. Sounds good to me. These nail polishes are fast drying and fun to wear. You can go about three to four days before you’ll need to do touch-ups. Del Sol features 30 different colors to pick from for only $10.00 each. Try using the Trick or Treat on one side of the nail and blending with “On Fire” through to the rest of the nail. You’ll have a beautiful sunset affect inside, and a mean modern look outside.
