Color-Changing Nail Polish
The Color-Changing Nail Polish Bracket is underway and what a wild round of 32 it was. Today marks the Sweet 16. Let’s take a look at how the first round ended.
In the Glitter Polish Region, eighth-seed Barely There upset Graffiti, which was a No. 1 seed. VIP and Bad to the Bone was the closest matchup in this region, having a difference of only 11 votes. Bad to the Bone pulled out the win. Higher seeds Taken For Granite and Gitz & Glam won their contests against Bling It On and Twice As Ice, respectively.
Three of the four Matte Polish Region winners were underdogs. Blue-tiful (No. 8 seed), Better Slate Than Never (7) and Now You See It (5) advance while third-seed Oh, Boy! had some ease claiming the victory against sixth-seed No Foolin’.
The Shimmer Polish Region had two of the day’s tightest races. First-seed Senior Prom and eighth-seed Something Blue squared off in a close competition. Senior Prom got the win to move on to the Sweet 16. It was Hottie! (4) and Don’t Be Jealous (5) that had the day’s most “nail-biting” matchup, but Hottie! pulled off the win with just one vote. Second-seed Foxy outlasted seventh-seed Reckless and I Believe In Pink (No. 6 seed) defeated Mint To Tell You (No. 3 seed).
Every higher seed won in the Neon Polish Region. Rose Upon Rose, Orange You Glad, After Party and Get Your Pink On won their competitions by an average 182 votes.
