Your Ultimate Caribbean Vacation
Two of our most exciting adventures in the lineup let guests visit the Caribbean in a variety of new ways, from seven-night itineraries aboard Symphony of the Seas—the world’s largest cruise ship—to short, three- and four-night tropical getaways on the newly amplified Mariner and Navigator of the Seas.
The modernized ships will be making trips to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in The Bahamas that’s been transformed with $250 million. Here, guests of all ages can enjoy their ideal combination of thrills and relaxation to make for the perfect day at the beach, from braving the tallest waterslide in North America – Daredevil’s Peak – and among 13 waterslides at Thrill Waterpark, to sipping a cocktail at the swim-up bar in Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean.
No stranger to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Freedom of the Seas will return for the third consecutive year with a whole new look – packed with added features and experiences – courtesy of our major Royal Amplified fleet modernization program. With a lineup of exotic locales throughout the Southern Caribbean—including Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis; St. Johns, Antigua; Castries, St. Lucia and Bridgetown, Barbados—you’ll get to explore jungles and lounge on the beach all in one seven-night trip.

The Big Apple’s Newest Resident
Lighting up the New York City skyline, Oasis of the Seas – the ship that revolutionized cruise vacations with game-changing firsts like the unique seven-neighborhood concept – will become the first in the renowned Oasis Class to set sail from the New York area (Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ, to be precise!) come May 2020, following a bow-to-stern amplification. This is the first Royal Amplified ship to sail from the northeast (and the largest!) offering city dwellers seven-night Bahamian escapes, including visits to the new Perfect Day at CocoCay.

New Adventures in the Old World
Longtime New York resident Anthem of the Seas is changing its tune and joining Independence of the Seas in Southampton, England. On eight- to 14-night cruises, the Quantum Class ship will visit coastal towns in the Mediterranean, including Nice, France; Rome, Italy; and Lisbon, Portugal. Other itineraries visit the Canary Islands and Northern Europe with ports of call, like Bruges, Belgium; Hamburg, Germany; and Oslo, Norway.
Portugal’s Azores archipelago may be at the top of your list of places to visit thanks to a recent shout out in the New York Times. If you book a cruise on Independence of the Seas for 2020, you can explore Ponta Delgada, home to 22 naturally occurring hot springs. Itineraries also can include Agadir, Morocco; Copenhagen, Denmark and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Answer Alaska’s Call
With the return of Ovation of the Seas (the largest cruise ship to sail the Gulf of Alaska) for a second consecutive season, alongside Serenade of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas, Royal Caribbean has more ships cruising to Alaska than ever before. While Serenade sails seven-night itineraries through the 500 miles of shoreline that is the Inside Passage, calling on Ketchikan, Juneau and Icy Strait Point, Alaska, her sister ship Radiance will offer seven-night, open-jaw itineraries between Vancouver and Seward, Alaska. Ovation will once again bring on the thrills with seven-night sailings roundtrip from Seattle, visiting ports like Skagway, Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia.
Prepare yourself for jaw-dropping views of the Last Frontier, including from the highest vantage point on any cruise ship: Our signature glass observation capsule, North Star – which holds the Guinness World Record for “Highest Viewing Deck on a Cruise Ship” – lets you take in the fjords and glaciers from 300 feet in the air.
