Springtime has begun in the desert. For us, that means bathing suits and pools. It’s a breezy 80 degrees here in April. (Summer is excruciatingly hot.)
I have gotten out all of our summer clothes and am ready to hit the pool. For us, hanging out at a pool sometimes means being at a casino. If you ever have been to Vegas, you’ll know that you want to have a fit body if you’re going to walk around in your bathing suit. Well, that would not be me. I need to cover up my white “baby” belly.
Del Sol has these super cute cover ups. I love them. They are perfect for the casino pool. They are made of cotton jersey that is nice and soft. The cover up has an empire waste line (yay, no baby belly).Plus, it is smocked just right, it does not have that super tight smocking that makes things bulge in ugly places. On me, the dress fits mid thigh. Although, I love this, my husband is not thrilled. I also love that I can wear it as a dress or a skirt. I can pull it down, add a tank top and I’m ready to go hang out in the casino.
Del Sol items have a unique aspect to them. They change color in the sun. It is super cute. When you are inside, the dress has a black outline of flowers. Then you hit the sun and they change into a beautiful array of colors. Del Sol makes many products that do this, from nail polish to jewelry.
