Del Sol recently donated thousands of color-changing products and discontinued items to a local Utah school district, mostly allocated to Roosevelt Elementary School, which will use the Del Sol items to support their message that reading makes ‘bright’ minds.
Pictured above is Del Sol’s Customer Service Manager, Jenna Gardner, who volunteered to help the school with the Del Sol color-changing rings and other Del Sol products that will be attached to bookmarks at their Dr. Seuss ‘reading enlightens’ night.
The school unpacked the donation that Del Sol made to them, and they are so incredibly excited. The items will mainly go into their Tiger Store for the kids.
The children are rewarded by their teachers with ‘tiger coins’ for good behavior or improvement in different subjects, which they use to purchase things in the Tiger store. Up to 22 students are chosen each month (1 from each class) as the students of the month, and they each receive a color-changing tote bag as a prize for this honor.
Their lending library is also using the color-changing tote bags for the children to take the books to and from school to help protect the books.
