Thank you so much for donating the Del Sol nail polishes. We had an incredible response from our high school youth, and we were able to reach out to them and discuss acceptance.
We used the nail polish as a reminder to “not let the heat of the moment change who you are.”
One girl in particular stepped me aside and told me that a boy (and other classmates) had tried to pressure her in to doing an activity that she was not comfortable with. She appreciated the message from us and hopes that other classmates will follow suit and not change who they are just to become “cool” or “popular”.
