“I have been meaning to write you and thank you and Del Sol for all of your wonderful, incredible donations for the kids in Ethiopia. WOW!!! You donated so much stuff and to be on the side of giving it out was truly amazing. There was a girl in this village that I gave some of the key chains to who thought they were earrings. She pulled the price sticker back a little bit and stuck them to her ears.”
“I know that Del Sol has a saying of bringing Smiles and Joy to people, and that saying was so true when I would pull out a shirt and hand it to someone. The smiles on their faces were something that I will never forget.
“Watch the video to see kids holding up their hands with Del Sol rings on. All the boys and girls wanted the rings. It was so nice to have them to give to the kids. Boys received girls shirts and didn’t care, just the idea of getting a new shirt was awesome.”
“The [plush] dolphins that you had were perfect. As we drove down the roads of villages, there were so many kids, and we didn’t want to stop because they would swarm our car. So, we would throw things out of our van windows. I would hold the bag of dolphins and toss them to small children and then smile to see them smile. In most cases, it was their very first stuffed animal they have ever had.”
“I could never explain how many lives that Del Sol changed and helped in Ethiopia.”
