by You may remember from our initial post a couple months ago that Brittany B. and family entered Del Sol’s Destination Getaway contest last summer when visiting the Del Sol store in St. George, Utah. They ended up being the lucky winners, of course, which entitled them to a $2,500 trip to any Del Sol store location of their choice.
They recently decided to take their family vacation to sunny San Diego, California, where they stopped by the Del Sol store in Seaport Village to receive their $2,500 check from longtime Del Sol San Diego owner, Laurie Trinca, who was a big help in greeting Brittany B. and family and presenting them with their Destination Getaway check.
“There are so many things to do in San Diego, and with this gift from Del Sol, we’ll actually be able to do them,” said Brittany B. “Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity. Even our kids are so excited about it; they LOVE staying in hotels, especially if it has a pool.”
Early reports indicate that the Bunker family is having a wonderful time in sunny Southern California. Once they return from their getaway, we’ll be sure to post some of their pictures and adventures here.
Del Sol’s Destination Getaway program has been running strong since 2006, and it’s been so much fun for our customers, store owners and staff, and everyone here at Del Sol’s worldwide headquarters. Going forward into 2012, we’ve decided to convert the Destination Getaway into our new Sol Swag program, which will now be awarding exciting prizes on a weekly basis instead of annually. Just another way to spread more fun under the sun.
