Don’t be afraid to take a little risk in life. It’s totally worth it in the end.
When life gets busy, it’s easy to fall into a routine. When repeatedly working through this routine, life tends to get away from you. Before you’ve realized it, weeks, months and perhaps years have passed and you feel like you haven’t done anything with your life.
Instead of facing more years of regret, start doing something now. The time to change isn’t tomorrow. The time to change is now. Start today by doing any of these 30 things and you’ll definitely feel much more alive.
1. Write a book
If you’ve got a story inside you begging to be written, best to start writing it down now. It doesn’t even have to be published or seen by anyone else. Write for you and you alone.
2. Go somewhere you’ve never been before
Be it local or thousands of miles away, go somewhere you’ve never been before. You never know what surprises or adventures await you.
3. Visit family and friends you haven’t seen in a while
Catch up with your family and friends. Visiting them (especially your parents and grandparents) means more to them than you’ll ever know.
4. Photograph the world you see around you
Buy a camera and start taking pictures. You’ll start seeing things from an entirely new perspective. It will open your mind to the beauty of the world and all the people who live in it.
5. Go to a concert for your favorite band or artist
There’s nothing like hearing your favorite music live. The energy in the room alone is enough to make you feel alive.
6. Write and mail a handwritten letter to someone
With instant communication with email and text, taketime to sit and write a heartfelt letter to someone and drop it in the mail.
7. Hike to the top of a mountain
The view is so much better from the top.
8. Run a marathon
There’s nothing like training for a marathon. And once you cross that finish line, the feeling is exhilarating.
9. Start a new hobby
You don’t have to be the master of anything, but starting something new that interests you is sure to make you feel much more alive.
10. Go on a date with your spouse
If it’s been a long time since you’ve been out together, go do something fun. A night on the town is sure to spice up your life.
11. Spend one-on-one time with your kids
Get to know them a little better and show your love with a little one-on-one time with your kids. These moments are for making memories that they will have for the rest of their lives.
12. Get a passport
If you have a passport, you have an excuse to travel and are much more likely to go somewhere amazing.

With a passport in hand, and a bit of saved money, you could go anywhere you’ve always dreamed of visiting.

Working out gets your adrenaline pumping and makes you healthier than you’ve ever been before.

You never know what kind of sunrises you’re missing out on until you see one with your own eyes.
16. Write a song
If you’re musically gifted, write down all of those feelings in a song. No one even has to hear it, it can be just for you.
17. Make time for your dreams
Accomplishing your dreams may seem impossible. But if you start now, little by little, you’ll overcome the impossible and accomplish your dreams.
18. Go skydiving
You’ll feel like you’re flying. If you’re an adrenaline junkie or willing to take a risk and do something you’ve never done before, try this.

Some people love them, some people hate them, but rollercoasters are sure to give you the rush you need to make you feel alive.

25. Dance in the rain
Nothing is more exciting than dancing in a rainstorm. Even if you get soaked, you can’t help but feel refreshed.
26. Go for long walks with someone you love
Get a breath of fresh air and spend it with someone you love. You’ll see more of your neighborhood while having time to think and talk.
27. Adopt a dog or cat
If you can, adopt a cat or dog who will love you unconditionally for all their lives.
28. Dress fabulously
Dress for yourself. Don’t be afraid to dress up all the time and look your absolute best. You’ll feel more confident and people will notice.

Their smile alone will be worth it and brighten your entire day.

Things may not always go the way you planned, but having a positive attitude about it will influence all those around you.
